002. RAINHOOD IN BLACK

This Rainhood was developed as a last resort. I don’t like wearing raincoats, I get horrendous hat hair, and umbrellas don’t stand a chance in my stupid windy city! But I will not succumb to a scraggly, wet fringe!!

A contemporary take on Granny's clear plastic rain bonnet (which yes, I did try to rock in high school), the Rainhood is structured as to sit comfortably on the head without slipping, and extends down at the back to keep the neck and hair covered. Nice long ties mean you can tie this bad boy any way you like: under the chin, at the back, in a wee bow – and makes it totally adjustable in size. I'm yet to meet anyone with a noggin or hair too big or too little!

The Rainhood comes with a carry pouch with a loop to attach onto your keys or bag, so you're always prepared for unpredictable weather.

Crafted in a Japanese waterproof nylon with a subtle self-stripe weave, and fully lined with a yarn-dyed cotton and polyester stripe. Key seams are sealed with waterproof tape for added protection.

Cold hand wash or spot clean only. Do not tumble dry. Can be ironed on a low setting, but please do so carefully – nylon melts!!!
